“Tai Ping partners with Venezuelan artist Elias Crespin to design an interactive experience combining the energy of shapes, lines, tones and tension. Utilising line as his means of expression, Elias Crespin showcases Tai Ping rugs by delineating ever-changing and infinitely possible combinations of shapes in the space.
Three-dimensional linear elements entwine and create movement, generating shapes that are continually transformed by the undulation of fine steel wire to form an airborne sculpture. The resulting fluid and curvilinear motion creates a slow and steady dance of metal.
By interplay between wire and nylon threads, this monumental and poetic installation will fascinate and delight.”
