The exhibition Art Must Be Artificial: Perspectives of AI in the Visual Arts, curated by Jérôme Neutres, was inaugurated in November at Diriyah Art Futures in Saudi Arabia. This event marks the very first exhibition organized since the museum’s official opening on November 26, 2024. The exhibition explores the use of technology in visual arts through works by international artists, spanning a period from the 1960s to the present day.

On this occasion, Elias Crespin presents two of his creations, now part of the collection of the Guy and Myriam Ullens Foundation. The first piece, Circular Inception 2, features nine sets of red circles performing a large-scale aerial choreography. The second work, Plano Flexionante 8, is installed within a grand staircase at a height of five meters, lending the artwork a theatrical and majestic dimension that enriches the viewer’s experience.
