In 1955, Denise René gallery launched kinetic art with its exhibition ‘Le Mouvement’. It now confirms its pioneering role presenting ‘Lumière et Mouvement’. This title is a reference to the historical show held in 1967 in the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris where this new tendency of an art made by movement in its various forms triumphed. Fifty years later, Denise René gallery presents creations from historical figures of kinetic art alongside the work of a new generation that renew their legacy.
